Scope of Services
Mile High Auto Glass operates as a hybrid auto glass solution. We provide direct mobile repair services while acting as a dedicated general contractor and service coordinator for full replacements and calibrations.
1. Direct Mobile Repair Services
Mile High Auto Glass directly handles resin injection repairs for rock chips, stars, and minor cracks. Direct repairs are limited to eligible damage caused by standard road hazards. Our trained technicians reserve the right to determine whether damage is safely repairable under federal and state safety guidelines. Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections, such as a slight blemish or refraction, may remain after a successful structural repair. The primary goal of a repair is structural integrity, not cosmetic perfection.
2. Coordinated Replacement & Calibration Services
For full glass replacements (including front windshields, side glass, rear windows, and sunroofs) and ADAS laser calibrations, Mile High Auto Glass acts as your dedicated service coordinator. We seamlessly manage the logistics, scheduling, insurance billing, and part sourcing with our exclusive, vetted mobile partner. The physical replacement and calibration are executed by this specialized third-party partner.
3. Parts & Materials
Whenever possible, we and our partner utilize Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) glass, alongside industry-standard urethane adhesives. The choice between OEM and OEE glass often depends on vehicle age, availability, and specific insurance policy coverages. Customers may request OEM glass specifically, though insurance providers may require the customer to pay the price difference.
4. Mobile Service Conditions & Weather
Mobile service is highly dependent on safe environmental conditions. Urethane adhesives require specific temperature and humidity thresholds to cure safely. In the event of extreme cold, high winds, heavy rain, or snow, we may require the service to be moved to a sheltered environment (such as a customer's garage) or rescheduled entirely to ensure vehicle safety.
5. Pre- & Post-Service Inspections
All technicians are required to conduct visual inspections of the vehicle before and after service. The pre-service inspection documents the condition of the glass and surrounding bodywork prior to work. The post-service inspection verifies quality and confirms no collateral damage occurred during the service.
